Lovely Honey-Lavender Cloud Dough!
Here’s a simple and lovely recipe for Honey Lavender Cloud Dough, it’s soft, scented, safe and super fun for sensory play!
Ingredients:
2 cups cornflour (cornstarch)
½ cup vegetable oil (or melted coconut oil for a more natural scent)
1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender (finely crushed)
1–2 teaspoons honey
Optional: A few drops of lavender essential oil (only if not using around very young children)
Instructions:
Crush the lavender using a mortar and pestle or your fingers to release the scent.
In a large bowl, mix the cornflour and crushed lavender.
Add the honey and oil gradually, mixing with your hands until the dough is soft, stretchy, and moldable (like a light, fluffy dough).
If using essential oil, add just a drop or two and mix thoroughly.
Store in an airtight container between uses.
This dough is taste-safe (though not meant to be eaten in large amounts) and perfect for gentle, calming sensory play.
