Here’s a simple and lovely recipe for Honey Lavender Cloud Dough, it’s soft, scented, safe and super fun for sensory play!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cornflour (cornstarch)

  • ½ cup vegetable oil (or melted coconut oil for a more natural scent)

  • 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender (finely crushed)

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey

  • Optional: A few drops of lavender essential oil (only if not using around very young children)

Instructions:

  1. Crush the lavender using a mortar and pestle or your fingers to release the scent.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the cornflour and crushed lavender.

  3. Add the honey and oil gradually, mixing with your hands until the dough is soft, stretchy, and moldable (like a light, fluffy dough).

  4. If using essential oil, add just a drop or two and mix thoroughly.
