Hey Shire Mamas-to-be!

We’re beta testing a brand-new idea: a mums group that starts during pregnancy.

Think of it as a fun, supportive group chat where you can:

  • Share bumpdates and pregnancy stories

  • Swap product recommendations

  • Chat all things pregnancy and baby

  • And build friendships with mums-to-be living in the Shire due around the same time as you!

The group will be warmly moderated by the founders of Sweet Sensory Play, so you’ll always feel welcome and supported

Introducing: Sweet Sensory Pods!

What’s in it for you?

  • 6 months of a Sweet Sensory Pods membership completely FREE as a beta tester.

  • A FREE playgroup organised just for your pod once all the little ones have arrived.

  • 2 additional FREE playgroup sessions to use at any time.

After 6 months, you can choose to continue or opt out. No pressure, no strings attached.

All we ask is that you give us feedback along the way letting us know if the group chat is helpful and how it can improve.

Sound easy and fun? Fill out the form below to apply to be a beta tester!

Applications close on 15 October, 2025.

What Happens Next?

We will go through all the submissions and match mums with due dates close together, creating our very first pod!

If your due date is included, you’ll get a confirmation email, and then a text when it’s time to kick things off and introduce you to your bump buddies!

Congratulations to all the mum-to-be and we look forward to building something amazing with you!

FAQ

Can I apply if it’s not my first pregnancy?

Yes, that’s perfectly fine.

Do I need to live in the Shire?

Yes. The beta pod is designed for Shire mums so friendships can move from phone screens to in-person hang outs.

How many people will be in the group chat?

The exact number will depend on the submissions, but maximum 20 mums-to-be to keep things cozy and prevent conversations from becoming overwhelming.

Can I drop out at any point?

Of course. It’s like any other group chat. If you’re not finding it beneficial, you’re welcome to leave. It would be helpful if you could tell us what you didn’t like so we can improve the experience going forward.

Is there any cost to being a Beta tester?

Nope. None at all. When the 6 months is up (roughly mid April) you will have the option to remain part of the community if you find it valuable, or you can opt out. At the moment, the membership price is TBD. But until then, you’ll just be getting 6 free months of conversation, connection and opportunities to meet up with new found mum friends.
